Steven Cohen - Director of Multi-Family Investments
Steven Cohen is a Special Advisor to ACR for multi-family investments. He provides financial, investment and operational management services to real estate companies, including ACR, as well as families and private investors. Mr. Cohen speaks at and participates in Family Office and other real estate programs. Previously he served as the Director of Asset Management at American Commercial Realty from 2008 to 2011 and has remained as an advisor with ACR and Mr. Baer, notably in the multifamily asset class. From 2014 – 2018, he served as President of Standard Management Company, where he executed buy/sell side multifamily transactions approximating $300M and placed new debt of $150M through a combination of Agency, Life Insurance, Bridge and direct bank lenders. Prior to that Mr. Cohen served as the CFO of a $400M apartment portfolio located in Los Angeles from 2011 to 2014. Mr. Cohen began his career in public accounting in the Bethesda MD office of the Reznick Group. He maintains an active CPA license as well as Real Estate Brokers licenses in Florida and California
